Nootropics are something I have found very useful to enhance my quality of life. In general terms, a nootropic is a substance that improves cognitive function, memory, creativity, learning, or motivation. My personal favorites are the Racetam family of compounds. In particular; Piracetam and Aniracetam work well for me. I also like to supplement with a bio-available form of choline, such as Alpha GPC. It’s my understanding that these choline sources help us maintain our supply of acetylcholine, which is a primary neurotransmitter.
I have experienced positive results in regard to improved focus when performing detail oriented tasks, like writing this content. I also feel that it has helped my sports performance in regard to learning and refining motor skills, etc. As with anything you may see on this site, I’m just sharing my personal experiences. I encourage you to do your own research and experimentation to determine what works for you.
My current favorite supplier of these products is Pure Nootropics (link coming soon). Their product selection is quite good, the prices are reasonable, shipping has always been prompt, and they offer independent lab test results for some of their products.
Please be advised that these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease. The Racetam family of nootropics do not meet the FDA definition of a dietary ingredient. I am not a medical practitioner and nothing you see here should be considered medical advice. I recommend you consult with qualified medical professionals in accordance with your own personal needs and medical conditions.
